Eleven students mark eight years at TCS

Each spring, Trinity College School’s Grade 12 students prepare for their upcoming graduation, reflecting on the perseverance and commitment, as well as the support they received, that have led them to this milestone moment. For a select group of graduates, this reflection extends all the way back to their Grade 5 year, when they first came to TCS. Those students, who have spent the full eight years at TCS, are celebrated as members of the “Bear Cub Society.”

On Monday, May 13th, 10 of the 11 members of the 2024 Bear Cub Society (with one away for athletics!) gathered for a special luncheon at The Lodge, the residence of the head of Trinity College School, Stuart Grainger. There, Mr. Grainger welcomed them alongside Ms. Jennifer Reid (head of Junior School), Canon Don Aitchison (TCS chaplain) and Ms. Heather McClure (Grade 5 teacher).

In addition to enjoying a special meal and the chance to socialize, the students had a “walk down memory lane” as Ms. McClure shared photos, projects and stories from their time as Grade 5 students at TCS. Thanks go to the philanthropy & alumni office, including Ms. Jennifer Petrolito, for their efforts working with Ms. McClure to organize this event.

Congratulations to our 2024 Bear Cubs: Hannah B., Will B., Gray C., Max C., Temi E., James H., Lone M., Jacob P., Alexis S., Kenyon S. and Natalya V. We wish you all the best as you look ahead to graduation and the future!
