Members of the graduating class of 2021 had the chance to enjoy some online adventure as Trinity College School’s philanthropy & alumni office hosted a virtual “Grad Fun Day” on Tuesday, June 1st. With exams beginning the following day, Grade 12 students were able to meet online to take part in an escape room challenge hosted by Bermudian alumnus Nathan Swan ’06.
The philanthropy & alumni staff members have been hard at work in recent weeks, developing ways to make the grad experience special, even as we are separated by the miles. Among their initiatives, grad lawn signs were created to line the campus, with a photo of each of our 132 graduates featured. The signs welcomed students who were returning to campus to collect their belongings, as well as a special package created just for them. Each grad box contained items selected by the alumni office and the TCS Parents’ Guild, in addition to the graduate’s alumni tie. This tie signifies each graduate’s transition to the role of alumni, as they join a network of about 6,000 past students spread around the globe!
The philanthropy & alumni office was also pleased to announce the class of 2021 year chairs. Year chairs are nominated by their classmates to fill an important role as alumni; they help organize reunion and other class events, collect and submit Class Notes for The TCS News alumni magazine; keep in touch with classmates via emails and through the BearTracks online network; and generally work to maintain class cohesion. The class of 2021 year chairs are Sarah Bailey and Kyle Munns.
