Parents Weekend a chance to connect and share

With March Break just around the corner, Trinity College School parents had the chance for a mid-year check-in with their children during the second Parents Weekend of the year, held February 21st to 22nd in conjunction with Senior School Parent-Teacher Meetings. The weekend provides parents the opportunity to connect with their child’s teachers, and to share in their child’s daily life at TCS.

The weekend began with Friday morning chapel service, after which an enthusiastic group of parents enjoyed coffee in Trinity House, followed by a tour of the campus including a stop-in at the visual arts wing. At noon, parents gathered in the Gibson Room for an informative forum with members of the shared leadership team and other faculty members, who provided updates on the School and responded to questions.

Over the course of the weekend, in addition to taking part in meetings with faculty members, guidance counsellors and housemasters, families had the option of attending information sessions on the course selection process, visiting the school store, enjoying meals in Osler Hall, taking in a hockey game at the Peter Campbell Memorial Rink and, of course, spending time with their children.
