Ringers and singers recognized for chapel music commitments

A large number of students who perform music for Trinity College School’s chapel services – in the Chapel Choir or various bell choirs – receive awards generously donated by the TCS Parents' Guild. At the end of the year, all bellringers receive a lapel pin, marking their years of service. Two special awards honour our graduates.

This year, 34 students in the Junior and Senior Schools rang in the School’s three handbell choirs, and they will receive a pin marking their years of ringing.

The Randy Mills Senior Handbell Award is shared this year by all of our graduating ringers, recognizing their commitment and dedication: Stella Chen, Kit Cheung, William Du, Michelle Fan, Liesl Ge, Rita Han, Kristen Ho, Andy Niu, Tiffany Pan, Angie Zhang and Jack Zhang.

For the Chapel Choir, the Cohu Cup (named for Edmund “Billy” Cohu, who was chapel organist for over 40 years) represents fine singing along with support for the weekly performances by the choir. This year, the entire graduating class provided strong, multi-faceted leadership, and so they share the award: Acassia Arnaud (choir captain), Raphaëlla Bergeron Hartman, Megan Bernier, Stella Chen, Nita Das, Michelle Fan, Ayuho Negishi, Tiffany Pan, Anastasiia Solovei, Roselle Torres, Justin Belanger, Jayden Lefebvre, Ivan Lipski and Jack Zhang.
