Co-curricular arts group collaborates on digital music composition

The Senior School’s Digital Composition Arts co-curricular group at Trinity College School was led by Grade 11 student Brennon O’Grady during the winter term, from November 2020 to March 2021. The results of their collective efforts were inspiring!

The group focused on using both SoundTrap and Ableton Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs). Everyone in the group had some experience working with a DAW before joining the group. Time was spent learning composition techniques and strategies as well as an exploration of the DAW and its capabilities.

The members of the group worked on various individual and group compositions, with a final collaborative product called Reggie’s Awe-Inspiring Run to the Chippy (the fish & chip shop): click here to listen! Congratulations to both Brennon O'Grady and Tharun Shaji for their excellent work and creativity.
