2022-2023 prefects announced

Trinity College School announced its 2022-2023 prefects on Thursday, April 28th. With a wealth of skilled and dedicated student leaders amongst the current Grade 11 class, it was exceptionally difficult to choose a slate of just 12 to serve as prefects.

Appointed by the headmaster following a vote by Senior School students and faculty, along with input from key members of the educational staff, prefects serve in an important leadership capacity, organizing spirit-raising events, serving as role models and setting a positive tone for the student body.

Next year’s co-head prefects are William Raenden and Jasmine de Pencier. Our prefects are Viana Biscoe, Hudson Brown, TianTian Dong, Philippe Dulac, Merryn Hamilton, Silas Hodges, Ryan Horton, Grace Johnson, Phillip Whan Tong and Carmella Ylagan. We wish them all the best in their new roles!

The School will also be announcing other leadership positions in the coming weeks, including our incoming house leaders and peer mentors.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our 2021-2022 prefects. Focus this year has been placed on community-building in the wake of the pandemic, and our prefects have played an important role in building school spirit throughout the year. They are: Bolu Abiola and Gordon Bennett (co-head prefects), Natasha Deichmann, Abby Hicks, Karina Lee, Madison Narciso, Brennon O’Grady, Tharun Shaji, Nadia Simmonds, Simon Spoor and Wyatt Woloshyn.
