17 graduating students mark eight years at TCS

Each year, as graduation at Trinity College School approaches, a special group of Grade 12 students known as the “Bear Cubs” is celebrated. These are students who have attended the School since Grade 5, and on Monday, May 16th, this year’s class of Bear Cubs had the chance to reminisce about their eight years at TCS during a special luncheon at The Lodge.

This year’s event felt all the more special as it was the first held in person since spring 2019. It was also remarkable, as it marked one of the largest groups of Bear Cubs, with 17 members.

The students were welcomed by Headmaster Stuart Grainger and Head of Junior School Jennifer Reid, and had the chance to visit with their Grade 5 teacher, Ms. Heather McClure as well as Ms. Katie Still, who worked with the students as a faculty intern during their Grade 6 year. It was a nostalgic time, looking back on their days Boulden House, seeing photos, reading their old assignments and even classroom job applications they had written to Ms. McClure!

Congratulations to this year’s graduating Bear Cubs: Tobi Adeusi, Emma Aitchison-Madill, Madigan Christ, Riley Christensen, Owen Duckett, Taige Emtage, Mackenzie Heid, Stephanie Lane, Olivia Makris, Matteo Mascarin, Brennon O’Grady, Jake Pritchard, Gordon Roblin, Adam Sylvestre, Rizwan Tahir, Justin Wang and Katrina Wang.
