Parents’ guild members honoured at 120th annual general meeting

The Trinity College School Parents’ Guild and Head of Senior School Kristopher Churchill welcomed parents to the guild’s Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast and AGM, the morning of Thursday, June 2nd in Osler Hall.

Dozens of parents enjoyed a delicious breakfast, after which the 120th Annual General Meeting of the TCS Parents’ Guild took place. TCS is very proud to have the oldest active guild in Canada. Mr. Churchill expressed gratitude on behalf of the entire school to the many parents for their devoted volunteer efforts and time spent enhancing the lives of all our students.

Highlights of the meeting included guest speakers Krista Koekkoek, director of guidance & wellbeing, and Jennifer Reid, head of Junior School and student & academic support, discussing “Supporting Student Wellbeing Coming out of the Pandemic.”

TCS Parents’ Guild President Lisa Bailey (Sarah ’21, Rachel ’23 and Hannah ’24) presented the annual donation of $10,000, to Mr. Churchill to support the TCS Parents’ Guild Bursary.

The 2022-2023 guild executive was announced and all members are looking forward to an exciting year ahead.
