Guild volunteers bring the holiday spirit

It has been a busy few weeks for members of the Trinity College School Parents’ Guild as they have worked to bring the holiday spirit to the School, and beyond. In late November and early December parent volunteers came to campus on three mornings to set up seasonal decorations including the much-anticipated poinsettias ordered by members of the school community. Parents also lent a hand during the annual Winter Bazaar at the Junior School, wrapping the class baskets, setting up the Bear Cave space and, on December 6th, running the bake sale, gift sale, games and crafts that brought such delight to the students. In the Senior School, guild volunteers happily took orders for and then distributed special “candy grams” to students and staff.

On December 14th, the guild executive welcomed fellow parents to a luncheon meeting at the lovely Cavan Street Bar + Bistro in downtown Port Hope. It was a perfect chance to look back on a successful first half of the school year, begin plans for 2024 initiatives and, of course, socialize over some delicious food.

Thank you so much to the guild volunteers for all they do to make life at TCS even happier, especially through the holiday season!
