TCS students declare Lake Louise experience “So Good, So Good, So Good!”
  • Group of 20 people standing on the snow in front of a lake, with a snow-covered mountain in the background

Eighteen Trinity College School students dared to head west over the November Break weekend in order to explore the wonders of the Rocky Mountains. Snow, skiing and smiles were to be had in abundance as the group spent their time at Lake Louise. The global character of our school was represented in the group of participants who were able to bear witness to the wonders of Banff National Park.

Students took lessons, refined technique, explored the mountain, and built memories together, both at the Lake Louise Ski Resort and at the Chateau Lake Louise which served as our base of operations. Full days on snow were complemented by group dinners and activities that afforded ample opportunity for rest, relaxation and friendship. The closeness of these travellers was immediately apparent when they burst into song, singing Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline en route to the airport. The logistics of the trip contributed to a very successful experience on the ground.

Mrs. O’Grady and Dr. Hodges were fortunate to be able to serve as chaperones with such a remarkable group of adventuresome young people.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
