Handbell ensemble rings in the Halloween season
  • Large group of student handbell players standing on chapel altar

Trinity College School’s Johnson Ringers marked Halloween with a themed concert – the Phantom of the Handbell – on Monday, October 30th in the Memorial Chapel. Twenty-five ringers performed a variety of pieces, from Phantom of the Opera to Pirates of the Caribbean, Dancing Queen to Adele’s Rolling in the Deep.

Ringer extraordinaire Eric Jin (who routinely rings 5+ bells) played the piano as the ringers performed Ave Maria by Bach/Gounod.

Special mention to Charlotte Chan and Joon Kim who came directly from games to ring (Joon on crutches after a foot injury)! A larger than usual audience of family, friends, faculty/staff and locals provided lots of applause.
