Bears repeat as CISAA cross-country champs!

For the second consecutive year, the Senior School harriers team has won the overall CISAA Championship title for Trinity College School. The finals were hosted on Wednesday, October 25th by Lakefield College School.

In addition to the overall team win, the runners posted strong results across the board. The Senior girls placed second, while both the Novice and Senior boys were third, and the Junior boys took fourth place.

Individual runners placing in the top-20 in their respective races included:

  • Noah Shepherd – 2nd (Novice boys)
  • Evan Thomas – 13th (Novice boys)
  • Caden Keystone – 13th (Junior boys)
  • Michael Hassard – 14th (Junior boys)
  • Aidan Small – 7th (Senior boys)
  • Andrew Richards – 15th (Senior boys)
  • James Hassard – 18th (Senior boys)
  • Abby Richards – 7th (Senior girls)
  • Charlotte Patterson – 8th (Senior girls)
  • Bianca Rigamonti – 12th (Senior girls)
  • Abby Moorjani – 18th (Senior girls)

As coach Steve Patterson noted, “A successful day on the cross-country course doesn’t happen by accident. It takes hard work in training in the weeks and months leading up to a championship meet and then the courage to run a strong race. The results today are a testament to the team’s hard work this season.”
