Bears conquer Mount Trinity in annual harriers meet
  • TCS Cross-Country Runners

Anyone who has taken on the challenge of Mount Trinity – the massive hill that faces runners as they complete Trinity College School’s cross-country course – can attest that it represents a daunting task. Each year, TCS welcomes harriers from across the province to our annual meet and invites them to conquer Mount Trinity.

Under sunny skies on Wednesday, September 20th, the 39th TCS Invitational Harriers Meet saw nearly 800 entrants, representing more than 35 schools, take over campus and the Hedney-Geale Trail.

Our TCS Bears squad had a great day on the course, placing third overall based on combined results for all six races. This result is especially gratifying so early in the season, with some of our runners participating in a meet for the very first time!

Top TCS team results included:

  • Junior girls - 2nd place
  • Senior boys - 2nd place
  • Senior girls - 3rd place
  • Novice boys - 8th place
  • Junior boys - 10th place

Individual runners who finished in the top-30 included:

  • Noah Shepherd - 2nd (NB)
  • Abby Richards - 5th (JG)
  • Aidan Small - 8th (SB)
  • Andrew Richards - 12th (SB)
  • Charlotte Patterson - 13th (SG)
  • Bianca Rigamonte - 15th (JG)
  • Nalajoss Ellsworth - 17th (JG)
  • James Hassard - 22nd (SB)
  • Caden Keystone - 30th (JB)
  • Abby Moorjani - 30th (SG)

Congratulations to Bill Crothers SS (Markham, Ontario) for placing first overall, and East Northumberland SS (Brighton, Ontario) in second place.

A special “thank you” goes out to the many volunteers who made this event possible!
