Alpine team strikes CISAA gold

Trinity College School’s alpine skiers had a stellar day on the slopes, scoring multiple team and individual medals as well as gold in both the high school trained girls and boys categories at the Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA) championships on Wednesday, March 9th. Racing at Mansfield Ski Club, the team also celebrated a gold medal in the boys open category by Grade 11 skier Silas Hodges.

The CISAA alpine events include separate divisions for students who have trained through ski clubs (open division) and those whose only training has come at school (high school trained division).

Other individual highlights of the event included:

  • Bronze in high school trained girls division: Ally Jiang
  • Silver in high school trained boys division: Florian Nissen
  • Bronze in high school trained boys division: Emerson Mendum
  • Fifth place in girls open division: Addison O’Grady
  • Sixth place in high school trained boys division: Liam Gibson

As well, the girls open division team brought home the bronze, and the boys open team earned the silver medal.
