This year was an incredible year for Trinity College School’s swimming program. Despite all uncertainties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the TCS swim team made the best out of a difficult situation and worked hard to excel at our swim meets.
Many successes were achieved at our first swim meets and the medal count was high; TCS took home 15 first-place medals, 19 second-place medals and 12 third-place medals. This was a huge feat for TCS swimming, considering the type of training allowed leading up to the meets and not competing in two years.
The swimmers would like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing coaches, Ms. Erin McGee, Ms. Kristen Richardson and Mr. Xander de Beer. Their commitment and dedication are truly appreciated, and we could not have done it without them.
Also, we would like to thank the graduating swimmers for their hard work and commitment from the past four years. The team’s positivity and kindness created a fun dynamic that will never be forgotten. We started our swimming season as a team, but we finished as a family. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.
