Achievement, dedication and leadership recognized at Fall Athletic Awards

Senior School student-athletes and coaches alike reflected with gratitude on the autumn season in competitive athletics as Trinity College School hosted its Fall Athletic Awards the afternoon of Friday, November 19th in the Dick and Jane LeVan Theatre. It was the first opportunity to honour achievement, dedication and leadership in co-curricular athletics since the pandemic put sports on hold beginning in March 2020.

Throughout the fall season, football, soccer, field hockey, basketball and harriers teams competed in the Conference of Independent Schools Athletics Association (CISAA) league as well as many exhibition matches. Several of our cross-country runners qualified for the provincial championships, with stellar results.

A total of 14 athletes were honoured with Bigside ties recognizing the completion of their third season on a Bigside team during their career at TCS. Ties were presented to: Bolu Abiola, Savanna Barker, Taige Emtage, Jan Heckel, Kristie Lam, Josh Lolomari, Devlin Lovshin, Claire Marcotte, James O’Brien, Emma Olazabal Salgado, Michael Saunders, Toyo Udoeyop and Harry Wang.
