Heartfelt “thank you” to our parent volunteers

The TCS Parents’ Guild hosted its annual general meeting via Zoom the morning of Thursday, June 3rd. This meeting included guest speaker Renée Hillier, Trinity College School archivist, whose engaging presentation included decades worth of historical facts about the School’s past and its resilience in adapting well in the face of adversity.

Headmaster Stuart Grainger gave a heartfelt “thank you” to the guild. He relayed that, even though this year has been a challenging one for students due to the pandemic, our committed community, including the guild, maintained a high level of support even in the toughest times. TCS provided a sense of place for our students, and by adjusting and modifying, caring teachers, staff and parents remained the key to a great education.

Those guild members in attendance voted on several wish list items for the Senior School and Junior School. The executive then discussed other matters from the year, and the 2021-2022 new executive members were welcomed. Best wishes and thanks to the outgoing president of the TCS Parents’ Guild, Nancy Sanderson P’20 ’22, and a warm welcome to incoming president, Lisa Bailey P’21 ’23 ’24.

Trinity College School would like to give a note of gratitude for everything our dedicated parents have done over the 2020-2021 school year; under unique circumstances the guild was able to give back to TCS to improve the daily lives of students.
