One of the unique yearend traditions at Trinity College School is a celebration of students graduating from Grade 12 who began their TCS journey in Grade 5. This year, 11 students entered the Bear Cub Society during an online event on Thursday, May 28th.
The class of 2020 Bear Cub Society members are Chloe Chiang, Spencer Grainger, Natalie Lane, Dylan Love, Jack Moser, Jaya Sharma, Victoria Stewart, Nicolas Sylvestre, Nicole Wang, Aidan Wylie and Nasser Yassein.
The day before the online event, Grade 5 teacher Heather McClure made stops at each student’s house to drop off a special package and take a “socially distanced photo” with the Boulden House banner that usually hangs in Memorial Chapel.
On Thursday, the students gathered via Zoom to share memories and stories with Headmaster Stuart Grainger and current Junior School faculty, as well as special guests Canon Don Aitchison and former Head of Junior School Barbara Piccini. It was a lovely time to reminisce on the students’ years at TCS.
