Students introduced to range of career pathways during annual showcase

This year’s Career Showcase saw Trinity College School students able to speak with community members in five career fields, facilitated through online meetings held Thursday, May 7th. Four alumni and one parent discussed not only their specific professional field, but also educational and career paths more broadly, with an emphasis on making connections and finding mentors.

This year’s presenters were:

  • David Boyd ’91, portfolio manager at BMO Nesbitt Burns
  • Tamara Bryant ’07, engineer and project manager in the oil & gas sector
  • Andrea Chase ’01, entrepreneur and founder of ProCabby Ltd.
  • Jeff Kopas ’94, film maker and television producer
  • Dr. Julie Lovshin P’24 ’28, clinician scientist and assistant professor of medicine

During the online meetings, these professionals provided practical advice and answered questions from our Senior School students. We thank them sincerely for giving of their time to help prepare our students as they consider their own educational and career paths.

The philanthropy & alumni office, which organizes the annual Career Showcase, welcomes parents and alumni interested in presenting in the future. Please reach out to Rick Traugott, manager of alumni programs, at rtraugott@tcs.on.ca.
