Duke of Ed Ontario offers tips for continuing awards program at home

With so many students currently at home, the Ontario office of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Awards (DOE) program is providing some helpful tips on how young people can move forward in their DOE journey.

DOE Ontario has set up a special webpage devoted to providing useful information for participants at: www.dukeofed.org/on/we-are-here-for-you. For example, one great tip is for students to take this opportunity to ensure their online record books are up to date with all of their progress towards achieving their personal goals.

As well, each weekday between March 23rd and April 4th the Ontario office is hosting a series of hour-long online drop-in sessions, where students can have their questions about the program answered. These sessions will be hosted through the Zoom meeting app. Click here for webinar dates and times, as well as the access button to join in!

For TCS students, Ms. Jen Powles, the School’s DOE coordinator, is always available to respond to questions. You can email her at jpowles@tcs.on.ca.
