Solar Eclipse: Non-Teaching Day

Due to the total solar eclipse that will be passing over Southern Ontario the afternoon of Monday, April 8th, and in consideration of the safety risks posed by this event, this will be a non-teaching day at TCS. This means:
- There will be no Junior or Senior School classes
- Day students are asked to stay home; day buses are cancelled
- Boarding students will be able to arrange to be off-campus if they opt to do so (moving to an open weekend, April 6th to 8th)
- Boarding students who are on campus will gather together in a common indoor space under staff supervision and with precautionary measures in place during the period of the eclipse
Further details of the School’s plan have been emailed to all parents, staff and students.
