It's that time of year again! The entire TCS community is invited to join us on campus to take part in the 126th running of the Oxford Cup. The race will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024 and we would love it if you could join us!
This event is open to all members of the TCS community. Senior School students are expected to participate and will receive a bib from their head of house prior to the race (day student bussing will run on a special schedule). Junior School students are invited to sign-up with their homeform teachers to receive a bib (note that parents must accompany Junior School students to the event as no supervision is available).
Non-TCS students (alumni, parents, family and friends): Registered runners can pick up their race bibs between 10:00 am and 10:45 a.m. in Cirne Hall.
Again this year, we are hosting the "Cub Cup" — a 400 m fun run for children under 10. The race will start at 10:30 a.m. All registered participants will receive a prize.
Registration for both the Oxford Cup and Cub Cup is closed.
Timing for the big day is as follows:
10:00 a.m. | Registered non-TCS student participants can pick up their bib in Cirne Hall |
10:30 a.m. | “Cub Cup” 400 m fun run (Under-10) |
10:45 a.m. | Last chance for non-TCS students to pick up race bib (Russel House) |
11:00 a.m. | Race start! |
11:45 p.m. - 12:15 p.m. | Awards presentation and light refreshments outside of Russel House |

For those who can't make it to campus, there is also an opportunity to participate in a virtual Oxford Cup.
We ask that you send the following to alumni@tcs.on.ca:
- Date, time and location of the run.
- Names of anyone who joined you in the run (if applicable).
- A picture of you at the end of the run. (This is a must!) And, the photo would be even better if you are wearing a TCS t-shirt!
- If you are using a GPS tracking app (Strava, Nike Run Club, etc.), send a screenshot of your route map.
Submissions received from November 16th-23rd will be posted to the TCS alumni social media channels. And a story with links to the photos will be posted on our website at www.tcs.on.ca/alumni.
We look forward to seeing as many people on campus for the Oxford Cup on November 23rd —if you can't run, please know that you are welcome to attend and cheer on participants!
