  • Three students earn Distinction in the winter term of sports

As Trinity School celebrated commitment, leadership and achievement at the Winter Athletic Awards ceremony on Friday, March 31st, it was a chance to reflect on a very successful term in competitive Senior School athletics. This included CISAA league silver medals in Bigside boys basketball and Bigside girls hockey, as well as multiple CISAA medals for our alpine skiers (4 gold, 4 silver) and swim team (3 gold, 3 silver, 4 bronze). Sixteen skiers and eight swimmers earned berths at the OFSAA provincial championships, with the Junior girls 200m medley relay team winning OFSAA gold and Dana Hawitt capturing provincial bronze in the 100m individual medley relay.

Three athletes earned Distinction in the winter term of sports: Grade 12 skier Silas Hodges and Grade 11 basketball players Cheuk Lam and Lana Agbelese. Distinction represents a superior level of achievement on the part of a student who has also demonstrated commitment and served as an ambassador for the School in their athletic endeavours.
