Competition

The season starts after March Break and finishes in late May. Our teams play in the Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA), a league made up of independent schools from across Ontario, in the rugby sevens format. At the Varsity level (Bigside), the league play involves a 4-6 game schedule, plus playoffs. We supplement the league schedule with exhibition games as well as the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS) tournament. The Junior Varsity team (Middleside) plays in CISAA Division II. They have a 4-6 game schedule, plus playoffs.

Facilities

Our girls rugby teams play on all-natural grass fields. They also have access to training equipment to help with proper tackling and ruck formation.

Development

• 4 practices and 1 game per week
• Bigside: 8-10 games; 4-6 league games, playoffs and CAIS tournament
• Middleside: 4-6 league games plus playoffs
• Individual support is given to players interested in pursuing rugby after TCS
