Competition

The season runs from mid-April to early June. Our team plays in the Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA), a league made up of independent schools from across Ontario. TCS plays approximately 8-10 league matches before participating in the CISAA tournament. In addition to CISAA competition, our team participates in the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) qualifier, from which several TCS athletes regularly advance on to the provincial championships in early May.

Development

• Four practices (on average) per week and games every Wednesday and Saturday
• 8-10 game schedule plus the OFSAA qualifier and CISAA Championships
• Individual support is given to players interested in pursuing badminton after TCS
• Many members of the team participate in the recreational badminton program over the winter to ready their skills for the spring
