Tim Hyland ’82

Tim attended Trinity College School from 1976 to 1982. Since that time, he has become a serial entrepreneur and has participated as a senior management leader for both private and public companies in the real estate, telecom and technology sectors.

In 2002, he founded Route1 Inc., a company providing secure remote access technology that integrates multi-factor authentication and identity management within a mobile computing environment, taking it from a nascent start-up to the public markets as executive vice president and COO while also serving on its board.

Currently he is the owner of Junk Canada Removal Service Toronto, a specialty firm that counsels clients on how to permanently declutter their lives.

Tim has served on the School’s IT advisory committee for the past eight years and currently chairs the committee. He has also recently joined the School’s philanthropy & alumni committee.

Tim lives in Toronto with his wife Linda and has two adult children.
