  • Career Showcase speakers focus on goal-setting, networking and embracing change

Trinity College School alumni and parents shared a wealth of experience and insight with Senior School students during the annual Career Showcase the evening of Wednesday, April 12th. After hosting three years of online events, the philanthropy & alumni office was pleased to welcome guest speakers back to campus to speak with students.

After an introduction in Cirne Commons, all students in Grades 9 through 12 headed into the first of two breakout sessions. At the midway point of the evening, students moved on to their second selected session.

The goal of the Career Showcase is not only to highlight educational and career paths for a range of professions students might be considering, but, just as importantly, to discuss strategies that will apply to any career in terms of seeking out mentorship, asking questions and building networks to support career development. Students also heard many stories about how these professionals have weathered change in their industry or in their own career goals.

Thank you to the following guest speakers:

  • David Boyd ’91 – investment management
  • Mike Delaney ’01 – entrepreneur
