Guild starts the year with breakfast and camaraderie
  • Guild starts the year with breakfast and camaraderie

The executive of the Trinity College School Parents’ Guild was so pleased to be able to welcome parents to a breakfast meeting in Osler Hall on Tuesday, September 20th. About 30 parents joined in person, while several more took part via Zoom.

Every Junior and Senior School parent is a member of the TCS Parents’ Guild – one of the oldest such organizations in Canada, having been formed in 1902. Through the guild, parents are able to assist with its mandate of supporting the daily physical, social and general wellbeing of students. They do so through volunteering, donating and attending guild events.

Tuesday’s opening meeting was a chance to meet guild executive members, as well as enjoy the company of fellow parents while sampling the beautiful breakfast prepared by the culinary service team. And, while the event provided an overall introduction to guild activities, there was great excitement specifically for the upcoming Bear Fair family fun day on September 24th!

All parents are encouraged to become involved with the guild, even if you live at a distance. Attend a meeting or social event. Give back through volunteering. Order your child a “Bear Hug” package. More opportunities will be shared throughout the year. Visit www.tcs.on.ca/guild for details.
