Busy weekend of activities for Senior School students
  • Busy weekend of activities for Senior School students

Thanks to the efforts of our student leaders and supportive staff, Trinity College School’s Grade 9-12 students had a weekend bursting with activities from September 16th-18th.

The prefects hosted a fun “Game Show Palooza” on Friday night, where students gathered in Cirne Commons and had the chance to play Family Feud and Finish Those Lyrics to win prizes!

On Saturday evening, the first school dance of the year was held outside near the beach volleyball courts. With the theme of “Glosheaga,” students were provided with neon shirts and danced the night away in a blaze of colour. Click here for more photos.

Sunday afternoon, the first “Sunday Chill” of the school year was hosted by the peer mentors of Burns House. This new initiative will see each house’s peer mentors organize activities on Sundays during closed weekends, allowing students on campus to drop in and have some fun, relax and hang out with peers. For this first Sunday Chill, students Izzy Torzsas and Calissa Ylagan invited students to the Senior School library where they had a movie on airplay, lots of snacks and plenty of board games to play.

In addition to these great events, the weekend was also filled with co-curriculars and a service opportunity that saw a full group of eager students working in the School’s vegetable garden beds!

Thank you to the student leaders for their hard work and enthusiasm, and to the faculty and staff who helped to coordinate and chaperone these events.
