Mike Lada ’97

Mike is currently vice president, finance for John Laing Group plc., which is a U.K.-based publicly-listed infrastructure fund with global assets. In Mike’s role, he oversees all asset management for the fund’s North American investments as well as represents several board positions pertaining to these assets. Mike is a senior financial professional who has over 14 years in progressively senior corporate, consulting and private equity roles. He brings a balance of discipline in M&A transactions, corporate development, financial oversight and the solving of complex business problems.

Mike started his career at KPMG LLP and holds a chartered accountant designation, as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Western Ontario. He has been a member of the TCS finance committee for over five years, as well as a member of Toronto’s Mount Sinai Hospital, “Leadership Sinai” organization. Mike is also a former member and treasurer to the Toronto Rotary Club.

Mike lives in Toronto with his wife Lindsey and his identical and very dynamic twin daughters, Emma and Grace.
