Lunar New Year (Non-Uniform Day)

Throughout the day on Friday, February 2nd, members of the Cultural Awareness Group (CAG) will host events to honour Lunar New Year, and the incoming Year of the Dragon.

  • Non-Uniform Day: Senior School students may opt-out of their uniform by wearing red, gold, yellow or traditional dress to mark this important holiday
  • Morning Chapel: Chapel will include a presentation by students on Lunar New Year
  • Morning Break & Flex Block: Enjoy music and videos in Cirne Commons
  • Lunch & Dinner: Special themed menus in Osler Hall
  • Evening Community Event: Come out to Cirne Commons at 7:00 p.m. for a carnival-style event with stations (including games, riddles, calligraphy and more) followed by fireworks outside the commons (late day bussing available, departing at 8:45 p.m. from LeVan Hall)
